Membership Terms & Code of Ethics
NAVW CODE OF CONDUCT AND ETHICS
The National Association of Virtuous Women, Inc (“NAVW”) Code of Conduct: NAVW and its founders and members must, at all times, comply with all applicable laws and regulations. NAVW will not condone the activities of members who achieve results through violation of the law or unethical business dealings. This includes any payments for illegal acts, indirect contributions, rebates, and bribery. Members uncertain about the application or interpretation of any legal requirements should refer the matter to NAVW Founder/President.
MEMBER CONDUCT IN GENERAL
NAVW expects its members to conduct themselves in a Christian-Like manner at all times.
We truly understand the work/life balance, we do not require members to attend every meeting, but we do require an RSVP, regardless of a yes or no. A Maybe RSVP doesn't exist.
CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
NAVW expects that members will perform their duties, if any, conscientiously, honestly, and in accordance with the best interests of NAVW. Members must not use their position, if any, or the knowledge gained as a result of their positions for private or personal advantage. We highly suggest using the scripture Matthew 18:15 as your guide to handle any conflicts you may have with members
or in our community.
When communicating publicly on matters that involve Organization business, members must not presume to speak for the Organization on any topic, unless they are certain that the views they express are those of the Organization, and it is the Organization’s desire that such views be publicly disseminated.
We are here to bring our prayers and supplications to our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ. Our duty is to faithfully lay our requests before His throne, trusting that His will be done. We pray for each other often.
We exist to provide support to women and families in need as the Scripture commands. All services and programs of ministry provided throughout the community is to be done in a Christ-like manner allowing the gifts of time, services or goods to make way for the Giver.
In consideration of your entry to NAVW Inc; you agree NOT to use the group to:
Collect e-mail addresses or other contact information of members for the purpose of sending unsolicited emails and other unsolicited communications in order to recruit for your own personal gain or business.
The member accepts that (except for information, products or services clearly identified as being supplied by the NAVW) we do not control or endorse any information, products or services on the website in any way, except where clearly stated.
NAVW shall not be liable for any cost or damage arising either directly or indirectly from any transactions between the member and third parties. It is solely the member’s responsibility to evaluate the accuracy, completeness and usefulness of all opinions, advice, services, merchandise and other information provided through the Initiative.
NAVW is not responsible for any injuries caused by or relating to activities undertaken during events or community service outings.
As a member, you are entering into a covenant with other sisters who serve in ministry to:
Exercise self-care (Mark 1:35);
Keep information confidential (Matthew 9:27-30);
Reflect the love of Christ (John 15:12);
Encourage and Support one another
Give thanks for each other (Philippians 1:3-6);
To pray for one other (Ephesians 1:18);
Promote a spirit of unity (Colossians 3: 12);
Serve with a spirit of excellence (Colossians 3:17);
Walk by faith (Matthew 17:20-21)
Trust in the name of the Lord (Philippians 4:13
As a member, you agree to hold all information in the strictest of confidence (i.e., prayer requests and concerns, self-care issues and any information of a confidential nature that you may have access to as a result of your involvement in this ministry.
Finally, as a member you agree to walk worthy of the vocation that you have been called in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 4:1-3).
